FAIR PLAYS: Fighting Abuse & Inequality through Resources Platform of Learning and Actions for Youth in Sports
Overview
FAIR PLAYS is a capacity-building project funded by the Erasmus+ Sport programme (2025), aimed at addressing sexual and gender-based violence in the sports sector. The project focuses on developing and integrating educational resources that promote safe, inclusive, and respectful sport environments.
Implemented by an international consortium of partners from across Europe, FAIR PLAYS strengthens the role of education in preventing violence and fostering integrity and equality in sport.
Objectives
- Develop and integrate educational content on violence prevention in sport
- Improve skills and awareness of sports professionals and future coaches
- Promote a culture of respect, equality, and integrity in sport
- Support capacity building of sport education institutions
- Strengthen transnational cooperation in addressing safeguarding issues

- Needs assessment and stakeholder consultation in sport education
- Development of innovative educational and digital training resources
- Testing and refinement of materials in real environments
- Deployment of a multilingual digital learning platform
- Dissemination through professional networks and communication activities
Partnership
The project is coordinated by C3D STAPS (France) and involves partners from Greece, Cyprus, Montenegro, and France, including WBSI Lab.
